If you find you are having problems with PDF converting to the desktop Flipbook application we recommend optimizing your PDF using Adobe Acrobat Pro.
Concerns you may have:
- Page elements not displaying or displaying in an unusual way
- Slow Page Load
- Transparency Issues
- General differences between PDF and converted result
Open Acrobat and your PDF document or specific page. The path to get to PDF optimizer will be different across Acrobat Versions, but on Acrobat Pro X you:

NOTES
- These settings may not be optimal for your PDF but can serve as a guideline. ALWAYS ensure your PDF is displaying content properly prior to uploading it to the Application
- Use these settings to prepare your PDF, along with Forced Vectorization options during processing to ensure your PDF pages get converted optimally
- Some versions of ACROBAT PRO (ACROBAT X and XI confirmed)have a bug where ANY internal page links in the PDF will be DISCARDED when you optimize the file. If you need internal/page links for your PDF, make sure you create them POST optimization step using Adobe Acrobat OR create them post Upload using our link tool
- This bug is related to the Transparency option for optimization. Unchecking of the Transparency box in optimization will ensure any important internal page links are maintained. You could then use the Acrobat Preflight >Flatten all transparencies option to correct any transparency conflicts with your PDF
