How to: Place a linked image (eg. banner) in the widget area

You can use the custom embed widget to place an image and link it to an external site.

First click on edit title from the manage titles/issues screen.

Click on Widgets>Custom embed>"Activate the custom embed widget" and place the below code in the "Your Embed Code" section.

Please replace the bold font with both the URL that your image will link to and the URL where your image is stored.

Make sure that the width of the actual image is slightly smaller that the widget's size.

Click in 'Update Title' and  your widget will display to end users in the flipbook.  Click GO BACK to cancel and discard the changes.

Once updated, you can click on the PREVIEW EYE to see the new widget in action!

Linked images are a great way to advertise or to highlight any kind of content on your digital edition. It's like a regular website banner. The link could lead to a conversion point (shopping cart, application, etc).
